Three vertical elements of regionally quarried stone anchor the glassy volumes to the site and further define intimate indoor and outdoor spaces.
Situated atop a steep narrow bluff overlooking Puget Sound, the Possession Lane residence was envisioned as a sanctuary defined by light, craftsmanship and connection to nature.

Two barrel-roofed forms were obliquely positioned to reach towards opposite ends of the horizon, thereby maximizing views, separating public and private zones, and reducing the overall visual mass.

Multi-slide doors provide a seamless connection to nature, while clerestory glazing balances light and lifts the eye towards the sky.
A spa-like atmosphere in the primary suite is characterized by sculptural shapes, an earth-inspired palette, and tranquil views amidst the treetops.
