A growing food scene along 45th Street prompted the design to update the outdoor dining space and make a stronger connection from the interior of the restaurant out to the new courtyard. The courtyard enhances the dining experience at the restaurant, especially on sunny afternoons.

The design blurs the line of inside and outdoor space with the addition of glass doors and the continuation of interior screens outside. The outdoor courtyard is protected from the street with a series of layered screens and plantings.
