Seattle Waterfront Park Restroom

Located between the Seattle Aquarium and the Big Wheel, this all-gender restroom serves locals and visitors across a new network of public spaces created by the comprehensive redevelopment of Seattle’s Central Waterfront.

 
 

Steel slatted screens and a polycarbonate roof play with texture, light and shadow on the building’s open-air shell, while the interior welcomes users with modern amenities and a clean, classic palette sprinkled with unexpected moments of color.

Visual connections are preserved between the restroom, Pier 58 playground, Fitzgerald Fountain, and promenade through the steel slats.
