A small accessory dwelling unit (ADU) was designed to complement an existing house designed by architect, Paul Kirk, for use as a future caretaker’s unit.

The ADU completes a courtyard formed by the existing main house. This courtyard encloses an outdoor gathering space for family events.

 
 

The primary bedroom of the ADU is positioned past the main house for views of Seward Park and is notched to protect the beauty of an existing red maple tree.
